1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Handful of Angels platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. About the Platform

Handful of Angels is a community platform that enables users ("Angels") to create campaigns of emotional and financial support for individuals battling cancer ("Survivors"). The Platform facilitates community engagement through posts, well-wishes, and optional donations. Handful of Angels is not a medical provider, financial advisor, or licensed charity.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with others.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. User Roles

The Platform supports several user roles:

• Angel: A user who creates and manages a campaign on behalf of a Survivor.
• Survivor: The individual with cancer for whom the campaign is created.
• Beneficiary: The person designated to receive and manage donated funds (may be the Survivor or a caretaker).
• Supporter: Any user who participates in a campaign by posting messages, donating, or engaging with the community.

5. Campaigns

When creating a campaign, you agree that:

• All campaign information is truthful and accurately represents the Survivor's situation.
• You have the Survivor's consent (or the consent of their legal guardian) to create a campaign on their behalf.
• Campaign funds will be used for the stated purpose of supporting the Survivor.
• You will not create campaigns for fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading purposes.

We reserve the right to review, suspend, or remove campaigns that violate these Terms or appear to be fraudulent.

6. Donations and Payments

Donations on the Platform are processed through our third-party payment provider, Moov. By making a donation, you acknowledge that:

• Donations are voluntary and made at your own discretion.
• Handful of Angels does not guarantee how donated funds will be used by the Beneficiary.
• Donations may be subject to processing fees as disclosed at the time of donation.
• Refund policies are subject to the terms of our payment processor and applicable law.
• Donations to campaigns on Handful of Angels are generally not tax-deductible unless otherwise stated.

7. Content Guidelines

Users are responsible for all content they post on the Platform, including posts, comments, photos, and videos. You agree not to post content that:

• Is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or harassing.
• Infringes on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Contains spam, malware, or unauthorized advertising.
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations.
• Is inappropriate, offensive, or harmful to the supportive community environment.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

8. Intellectual Property

The Handful of Angels name, logo, design, and all platform content created by us are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create on the Platform, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate and promote the Platform.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers connected to it.
• Create fraudulent campaigns or solicit donations under false pretenses.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Handful of Angels and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Platform and its users. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
